Habitat Project

Mayflower Congregational Church and Universal Forest Products Inc. are jointly working with Habitat for Humanity of Kent County to build a home for the Karla Parker family at 1947 Jefferson SE. Karla is a single parent with six children including her four children and two adopted nephews. The children range in age from 2-1/2 years to 12 years. Universal Forest Products has been working with Habitat for Humanity to do the framing of the house during July. Mayflower Congregational Church volunteers will do the siding, trim carpentry, painting, landscaping and clean up during July, August and September.
