 Education Opportunities for Children this Summer

  • Our nursery (Room 114) opens at 10:00 a.m. in the summer for children who were 2 and younger  during this past year.
  • Our 2 year old room (Room 217) opens at 10:15 a.m. to children who were 2 years old this past year and children may be taken directly there by their parents. Children have time to play, hear a Bible story, say a prayer, and have a snack. A craft is available for those who are interested.
  • Our 3 year old room (Room 216) opens at 10:15 a.m. for children who were 3 years old this past year and children may be taken directly there by their parents. Children have time to play, hear a Bible story, say a prayer, have a snack, and do a craft.
 Would you be willing to help with the nursery, 2 or 3 year olds during the summer months?

Children who have completed preschool through children who have completed 3rd grade are invited to begin Sunday mornings in the sanctuary and then may leave with their teachers after the Children's Message.
 
We will have two classes for these children. We will meet together in Youth Room A for a brief opening with a song, offering, prayer, and a puppet show. Children who have completed 1st-3rd grade will move with a teacher to Youth Room B to hear the story of the week and to do an activity. Children who have completed preschool, young 5's and kindergarten will remain in Youth Room A with their teacher to hear the Bible story and do an activity.
 
This summer's curriculum is Journeys With Jesus and both classes will "journey" to the Holy Land to follow in Jesus' footsteps. Older children are invited to sign up as puppeteers and helpers:  Sign Up Page
